Jie Yu or Bupleurum & Cyperus 18 Decoction
Disperses constrained liver qi, clearing liver and heart fire to invigorate blood and dispel phlegm. Use as anti stress formula for congestion of liver qi causing discomfort in hypochondric region with depression, PMS, general aches and pain, irritability and headache. Also benefits heart fire symptoms including insomnia, palpitation and nightmares. Useful for digestive problems due to liver invasion, including abdominal distension and stagnation of food.
Ingredients: bupleurum root, cyperus rhizome, bamboo resin, coptis rhizome, poria fungus, uncaria stem, licorice root, ginger rhizome, ginseng root, pinellia rhizome, aurantium fruit, aurantium zhi ke, ophiopogon root, angelica dang gui, saussurea root, perilla leaf, ligusticum rhizome, platycodon root.
